You Can’t Choose Your Family _ GTA Analysis Beyond The Mission

One Last Ride On The Road To GTA VI πŸ“… 82 Days to launch

You Don’t Always Get to Choose Your Family

Franklin walks in expecting home and instead finds a room full of women screaming and chanting.

His reaction is basically; “What the fuck?”. Then Aunt Denise casually explains; “Magenta is reinvigorating my femininity.”

Franklin’s response is essentially to retreat from the situation as quickly as possible but there’s something relatable underneath the comedy. Family can be one of the few things in life you don’t get to choose. You can love someone and still occasionally think; “What the actual fuck are you doing?”

“You can choose your friends, but you can’t choose your family.”

With Grand Theft Auto VI on the horizon, I thought it was the perfect time to revisit one of the greatest games ever made. Over the days leading up to the launch of GTA VI, I’m returning to Los Santos for one last ride through the narrative.

In this new collection I’m analysing the story in the comments to tell you what I think is going on. Disagree with what I say? Get in there! My challenge is to get the whole game covered by GTAVI launch.
