One Last Ride On The Road To GTA VI 📅 120 Days to launch

On the surface, it’s Lamar throwing a tantrum over “Employee of the Month.”, but underneath, Rockstar is showing us something very human. Lamar doesn’t actually care about the award. He cares about recognition.

Lamar says “When it’s some shit to be won… I want it.”. That’s the real line. Deep down, most people don’t chase trophies. They chase the feeling that their effort mattered. Everyone wants to feel seen.

The danger comes when your self-worth starts depending on whether someone else recognises it.

“Work hard in silence. Let success make the noise.” — Popular saying

This scene also reinforces something we’ve been uncovering about the characters. Franklin quietly accepts the award. Lamar loudly demands another chance.

Neither reaction is entirely about the award itself. Franklin is focused on moving forward. Lamar is focused on proving himself. That difference becomes one of the defining traits of their relationship throughout the game.

With Grand Theft Auto VI on the horizon, I thought it was the perfect time to revisit one of the greatest games ever made. GTA V was one of the very first games I created content for, and while I had plenty of enthusiasm back then, I was still learning the art of recording, editing and storytelling. Looking back at those early videos reminds me just how much I’ve grown as a creator. I won’t deny I still have a long way to go though!

So, over the days leading up to the launch of GTA VI, I’m returning to Los Santos for Grand Theft Auto V – Series 2. Rather than simply re-uploading old footage, I’m creating a brand-new collection of fast-paced shorts that focus on the funniest moments, biggest fails, epic stunts and unforgettable chaos. These clips are shorter, sharper and edited to keep the action flowing from start to finish. Think of it as a celebration of GTA V, a countdown to GTA VI, and a chance to compare where Gramepa started with where the channel is today. The challenge is to get the whole game covered by GTAVI launch.
