There it is… Stormwind City.
I honestly didn’t expect this moment to hit me as hard as it has. Twenty years is a long time. Entire chapters of life have come and gone since the last time I walked through these gates, and yet somehow… it still feels exactly the same. The music, the towering walls, the guards pacing the entrance, even the sound of footsteps on the cobblestones — it’s like a part of my brain has been asleep for two decades and suddenly woke back up.
Back then, this city felt enormous. Not just in size, but in possibility. Stormwind wasn’t just a location in a game… it felt alive. A place where adventures started, where friendships were made, where thousands of players all seemed to exist together in this strange online world that felt bigger than reality itself.
And now I’m standing here again… older, greyer, probably worse at the game… but that feeling of awe is still completely untouched.
But the best part?
The city is still full.
Players everywhere. Running through the streets, dueling outside the gates, gathering around the auction house like they never left. After twenty years… this world is still alive. And honestly, seeing that brings me more joy than I can explain.
