Is gaming starting to become a luxury hobby?

I’ve been thinking about something this week.

Between more expensive consoles, £70–80 games becoming the norm, and subscriptions slowly creeping up in price…

I’ve always thought gaming was one of the best-value forms of entertainment, but I’m beginning to wonder whether we’re reaching a tipping point.

I’m interested to hear what others think. I’m still making my mind up on this one.
