One Last Ride On The Road To GTA VI đź“… 114 Days to launch
Be Kind. You Never Know Who Needs It.
Jimmy is awkward. He tries too hard. He throws out random ideas; “Play darts… Strip clubs…”. He’s desperately trying to make a friend. Franklin could laugh at him. Instead, he lets him down gently. Then he says the most important line; “Go easy on your pops.” That’s empathy.
Franklin has every reason to dislike Michael after everything that’s happened. Instead, he sees a son struggling with his father. Sometimes maturity isn’t choosing sides. It’s recognising that relationships are complicated.
“Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about.” — Often attributed to Plato (though the exact origin is uncertain)
This scene is a nice counterbalance to everything we’ve seen about Michael up to this point. We’ve spent several clips exploring Michael’s regrets and emotional distance. Here, Franklin quietly steps into the role Michael struggles with: he offers Jimmy respect, encouragement and perspective without preaching.
Franklin doesn’t promise they’ll hang out. He doesn’t pretend they’re suddenly best mates. But he leaves Jimmy with one piece of thoughtful advice: “Go easy on your pops.”
That says a lot about Franklin’s character. Even though he’s been caught up in Michael’s chaotic world, he doesn’t let that stop him from seeing Jimmy as a person rather than “Michael’s annoying son.”
The smallest acts of kindness are often the ones people remember most.
It’s not a grand speech. It’s a brief conversation between two very different people, and yet it reveals more about Franklin’s character than many of the game’s action scenes.
With Grand Theft Auto VI on the horizon, I thought it was the perfect time to revisit one of the greatest games ever made. GTA V was one of the very first games I created content for, and while I had plenty of enthusiasm back then, I was still learning the art of recording, editing and storytelling. I won’t deny, I still have a long way to go though!
So, over the days leading up to the launch of GTA VI, I’m returning to Los Santos for Grand Theft Auto V – Series 2. Rather than simply re-uploading old footage, I’m creating a brand-new collection of fast-paced shorts that focus on the funniest moments, biggest fails, epic stunts and unforgettable chaos. These clips are shorter, sharper and edited to keep the action flowing from start to finish. Think of it as a celebration of GTA V, a countdown to GTA VI, and a chance to compare where Gramepa started with where the channel is today. The challenge is to get the whole game covered by GTAVI launch.
Follow Gramepa for at least one new GTA V short every day (probably two if I’m going to achieve this) as we count down to the biggest gaming launch in years. I hope you’ll enjoy the ride as much as I do!

Has someone ever shown you a solid kindness? You know, one of those ones that sticks with you and changes you a little bit. The sort that will be paid back, or forward one day?
