I’ve been wondering whether gaming does something rather unexpected…
Does it keep us curious?
For nearly 50 years, gaming has encouraged me to explore new worlds, learn new systems, embrace new technology and solve problems I’d never have encountered otherwise.
Of course, you could argue that every hour spent gaming is an hour that could have been spent learning something else.
But I still wonder whether one of gaming’s greatest gifts is not just entertainment…
…but keeping us interested in learning.
