Gramepa’s Thought For The Week: G.A.D.D.

I’ve come to the conclusion that I suffer from GADD…

“Gaming Attention Deficit Disorder”

It’s not a real diagnosis—just my tongue-in-cheek name for what happens these days.

When I was younger, I’d buy one game, play it until the credits rolled, then move on to the next when I could afford it. If I was skint, I’d revisit something from my library. Simple.

Now? I can have five games installed, jump between three of them in the same evening, completely forget the controls, press the wrong buttons, and somehow still convince myself that *the next game* might be the one that hooks me.

Maybe it’s age. Maybe it’s having a bit more disposable income.

Maybe it’s because we now have access to thousands of games instead of one new title every month.

Or maybe, after decades of gaming, we simply know much faster what truly clicks with us.

I’m curious… Have your gaming habits changed as you’ve got older?

Do you still finish almost every game you start, or are you also hopping between wishlists, game stores, and your backlog looking for that one game that just feels *right*?
