Offspring 6.0 introduces gramepa to the delights of Roblox. I need to see what all the hype is about. Sound of our speech is naff as we were sharing a headset mic today as were experimenting at the new fibre venue.
All looks good for a while with the first game as I am off on holiday. Joy quickly turns to tragedy and I am the last one surviving after the plane crashes and we have to survive a desert island monster attack.
Next its some elevator romp with some mini games followed by some more mini games. Then its some sort of clone building battle thing.
I am a little concerned after all that for the future of gaming… It’s not really a high bar is it… I’m keepin an open mind though as we have not tried much yet and offspring will want me to come back. It all ended with a bit of a debate between offspring and I about short attention spans and why the kids all love Roblox. She dismissed my points saying that I think I’m more intelligent than I am. Ruffled a few feathers there me thinks!
