First it is off to see Mary. I’ve not shaved but I’m undecided as to if I want to make a good impression or not. She asks for help, I run to her, that will never change, but can we ever have what we had again? I just don’t know… After dealing with papa we had a fine night at the theatre. The entertainment was great and the host was a showman of the highest esteem but when we said goodbye I felt like my heart had been pulled from my chest… Oh Mary…
