I went all the way with this mine. From the surface to bedrock. Its one way of learning where you are going to find what and where. After a while you get into a bit of a routine and I was quite surprised into how I got into it, but thats enough now. I have plenty of diamonds but need iron more than anything and thats a bit closer to the surface.
Towards the end I go off on a little adventure to clear out all I can find from this cave system as I likely bid it farewell for now.
If I do start another strip mine it will be automated. I’ve seen the videos of huge machines… I’m some way away from that level of Minecraft. Maybe that will come up in episode 100 and something!
