I worked so hard for my first set of diamond armour. Hours and hours spent strip mining from the surface to bedrock. I felt invincible when I put it on. Nothing could get me now…
Then offspring suggests going on an adventure at her place into deep mines (see Episode 27). I lost the lot and despite frantic efforts to recover my loot failed. Over time (a few weeks) I have grown a little wiser in the ways of the Minecraft. I now have the confidence to face the fear of going back to the offspring pit, and leaving a suitable escape route marked out!
My treasure will be long gone, picked clean by the monsters, but I will claim their abode in revenge for the sleepless nights I spent contemplating my loss. So I return and start mapping it out only to find wondrous caverns full of sparkly things. By the end of the session I still had a lot more exploring to do and the way things are going will have enough diamonds to build a new set of armour!
