After my cockiness last time I die a few times answering / typing chats as it was a live stream and I couldn’t use a mic/cam today! I managed to recover everything but got a bit sweaty for a minute. I don’t want to see your AI art thank you! I wish they would ask that question first… This is how 80% of chats go on Twitch (you will need to imagine my responses):
“Hi. How are you doing today”
“You are playing really well. Is this your favourite game?”
“What else do you play?”
“Do you stream daily?”
“Where are you based?”
“What is your discord?”
“What is your IG”
All great but at this point depending on how patient they are with my responses they start asking if I want to see their creativity, art or if I’m interested in purchasing their digital services of assorted types! Why are there so many people trying to sell AI art and other peoples templates on Twitch! I can tell very quickly if people are genuinely friendly or trying to sell me something. I do play a bit with the hawkers! Do say hello though if you are genuine eh?! I don’t want to frighten people off!
I’m testing out a new streaming venue today with fibre! Wahey! We have been struggling with 5G since we started four months ago. Today we are testing streaming direct from XBOX rather than through OBS and although we can’t get the chat on screen and add all the fancy bits, for raw footage it is great quality! I don’t annoy everyone else with stealing all the limited bandwidth of 5G and downloads and uploads are taking minutes rather than days!
