I had to give it another go after all those awards. Perhaps I just didn’t get it the last time, just learning patterns and doing the same thing over and over again. I gave up after a few sessions. I was never a fan of Final Fantasy type stuff (thumb nail influenced). Not since the early days anyway. Elden Ring and the Souls series being other examples. They are just not my idea of fun! You are gonna say they are too hard for the old man! I hear you!
The first couple of hours will make some great shorts though so here it is. Slightly edited but mostly raw. I see a pattern emerging of some pretty engaging first couple of hours in a lot of games and then the routine sets in… What do you think?
Maybe I’ll be back but you know what I’m like. If I get bored I move on!
