Remember when finishing a game actually meant finishing a game?
The credits rolled.
You sat back.
And the adventure was complete.
Today many games are designed to keep us playing forever with seasons, battle passes, daily rewards and endless updates.
Neither approach is wrong.
But it got me thinking… Especially while getting back into Warcraft recently and all that grinding, whilst finishing up my series of shorts based on the entire RDR2 storyline.
Would you rather have:
📖 One unforgettable 40-hour adventure
OR
🌍 One game you could play for the next 10 years?
I’m not sure there’s a right answer.
Some of my favourite gaming memories came from games that had a clear beginning, middle and end.
